Experience
I am a teacher assistant in Dalton Elementary School and an ESL tutor in Azusa City Library. I was a tutor for Monrovia Boys and Girls Club, and Monrovia Public library for after school Read and Play Program. I also worked with preschoolers in Serendipity Early Care and Education Center in Monrovia. I practice teaching and tutoring for more than 10 years for all educational levels. I work with students one on one and in small groups depends on their needs. My favorite subjects are ESL, Elementary K-6th with focus on Math and Reading, and Farsi Language. I graduated from universities in field of teaching and counseling. so as a professional teacher-counselor, I know how to motivate students that hate school and challenging subjects such as math and reading. As a tutor I can help learners to get concepts easily and as a counselor I can help them understand themselves and build a strong self- confidence. I try making the education process easy and enjoyable for everyone. Tutoring is my passionate and I think it is the only job that I never want to give up. I want to be a teacher and learner for all of my life.
